Charming Xiangxi contains strong distinctive ethnic feature and has enjoyed a high reputation in Hong Kong, China mainland, Taiwan and other Chinese region, as well as South Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia and other places. It integrates the traditional folk art, craft with modern sound, light and electricity technology perfectly and ultimately creates "Fire & Drum", "Eternal Border Town Cui" and "Chasing Love in Xiangsi Building" etc. It is simple but elegant, matching with Wulingyuan natural scenery.
The list of the performance includes Xiangxi corpse driving, the drum dance of Miao, Wedding lament (Tujia Kujia), Chasing love and other contents. All this content contains the local culture of Tujia people.

Tianmen Fox Fairy----the New Story of Woodman Liuhai is known as the world’s first real-scene musical drama with the high mountain and deep valleys as the stage background. Tianmen Fox Fairy was put on at the foot of Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie in September, 2009.
The whole performance of Tianmen Fox Fairy is divided into five parts, including the King of fox’s choosing imperial concubine, meeting on the mountain, lovesickness at night, betraying to the King and waiting. The show tells a romantic love story about a fox fairy and an ordinary woodman that makes a living by chopping woods. During the show, you can appreciate the flying waterfall, the big moon; you are able to hear the folk songs, which are performed by 100 local singers with silver ornaments; you can enjoy the dance at the same time.
Zhangjiajie Bai Ethnic Torch Festival
Time: Evening of the 25th day of the six lunar month (about August)
Venue: Zhangjiajie
On the evening of the 25th day of the sixth lunar month, the Bai people put many torches together and jump them over repeatedly. They pray in this way to the God of Fire to eliminate the pests on the farmland and chase away all the evils.
Note: this festival is only held once in a year. Please just check out the time you go there, so that you will not miss the interesting festival there.
