► Travel fare for getting around in China
1. How much does it cost from Beijing to Shanghai
The cost from Beijing to Shanghai by flight: about CNY 1500.
The cost from Beijing to Shanghai by high speed train: CNY 553 for a first class seat, CNY 933 for a second class seat, and CNY 1, 748 for a business class seat. The whole journey takes about 6 hours.

The dining fare could be low, and could be high, according to what you want to eat. The cost of a meal for a person is about CNY 200 in a restaurant. If you eat food in a high-end restaurant, the fare would be higher.
For dining an Indian restaurant, the cost for per person is about CNY 100-200. If you want to save money, there are lunch set menus in some Indian restaurants, and the price is about CNY 60-70.
