How to get to Zhujiajiao Water Town from Shanghai? There a couple of ways to get to Zhujiajiao Water Town from Shanghai downtown. Passengers can take Shanghai Metro Line 17 and get off at Zhujiajiao Station, and then walk for about 20 minutes to get there. You can see the details as follow for your consideration:

From Shanghai Stadium

Shanghai Travel Bus Center is located at the Gate 12 of Shanghai Stadium. There are buses departing from here to Zhujiajiao Water Town every 30 minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. The last bus departs from Zhujiajiao Water Town to get back to Shanghai is at 4:00p.m. The buses from Shanghai to Zhujiajiao start from Gate 5 of Shanghai Stadium.

The bus has no stop along the way and is equipped with air-condition. So it is comfortable and convenient.

From Shanghai People Square

Departing from Shanghai People's Square, it is about 45 kilometers from the scenic spot. At Pu'an Road and Yan'an East Road near People's Square, at the west of the Concert Hall, there are Shanghai-Zhujiajiao Express Line Bus departing from here every half an hour every day. It takes about 1 hour to get to the town. After getting off the bus, it is Zhujiajiao Zhuxi Garden. you still need to walk for 10 minutes to the ancient town.

Note: The last returning bus departs from Zhujiajiao Water Town to Shanghai is at 7:30p.m. So, if you do not want to stay overnight in Zhujiajiao, you must catch the last bus.

From Shanghai West Bus Station

Shanghai West Bus Station is located at 555 Wuzhongdong Road, Xuhui District, Shanghai. Travelers can take Shanghai-Zhujiajiao Special Line Bus from here to get to Zhujiajiao Water Town.

From Shanghai South Railway Station

How to get to Zhujiajiao Water Town from Shanghai South Station? Take Shangzhu Line at Shanghai South Railway Station or Shangtai Line at North Caixi Road Bus Terminus to Qingpu Bus Station first. Then there is a bus every 10 minutes to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. The last bus should be at 6:30a.m.

Or take Shangqing Line at Shanghai South Railway Station then transfer Qingpu 27 bus at Gongyuan East Road Huaqing Road. Get off at Zhujiajiao station, you will get to destination.
