Where is Sanjiang County

Sanjiang Dong Autonomous County is a county in Liuzhou, northern Guangxi province, China. It is a region traditionally inhabited by the Dong people, bordering Longji Terraced Fields to the east, Guizhou to the northwest and Hunan to the northeast. It is easily to reach from Longsheng (about 1.5 hours) or Guilin (about 4.5 hours) by bus. It is about 180 kilometers from Guilin City and 200 kilometers from Liuzhou.

How to get there

The best way to get to Sanjiang Drum Tower from Guilin is by bus. There are many buses departing from Guilin Bus Station (Located at Zhongshan Lu, near to Guilin Railway Station) to Sanjiang County every day. The departure time is from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. The journey takes about 4.5 hours.
