Do Indians need a visa to travel to China? Of course, you do need a visa for travelling to China. In fact, every foreigner is required to obtain a Chinese visa for entering into China. For Indians who want to travel to China, you need a tourist visa(L-visa).
► Validity
The visa becomes effective from the date of issuance, and invalid when the period of validity expires.
If your visa is valid until July 2, the last day for entering China is July 2.
► Duration of stay
If you hold a visa for a stay up to 30 days, you could stay in China for 30 days. If your visa is for a stay up to 30 days, and valid until July 2, you could enter China on July 2, and stay 30 days in China thereafter.
► Number of entries of a visa
1.For Indian citizens, go to the website of Chinese Visa Application Service Center, complete an application form and print it out, then make an appointment;
2. Visit the office of Chinese Visa Application Service Center in India, and submit your application form, basic documents, supporting documents, and special notes;
3. Make a payment and collect visa.

Processing time of Chinese visa in India: for regular service, the processing time usually takes 4 work days.
For the express service, the processing time is about 2 work days, but it is only for Indian citizens. But you shall submit application before 11 AM, and pick up your visa after 3 PM the next working day.
► Payment method: Indian citizens shall pay in cash or demand draft.
► Total amount of fees: visa fee+ application service fee.

For applying Chinese visa, you need to print out online application form and the conformation sheet, and submit them with basic documents, supporting documents, and special notes to the Visa Center.
