Beijing East Railway Station

Beijing East Railway Station, formerly known as the Eastern Suburbs Station, was built in 1938. It is located in No.7 Baiziwan Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing. It mainly deal with freight operations, 27 dedicated line supplies joined with Beijing East Railway Station and transit business of freight train from Beijing South Railway Station and Beijing North Railway Station. Beijing East Railway Station is customs pass of Beijing railway’s materials export, which sets up customs supervision. It is mainly responsible for vehicle, LTL, freight containers and private line cargo services. It is also responsible for foreign cargo and foreign trade business of more than 100 consulates in Beijing.

The Development of Beijing East Railway Station
According to Beijing Rail Network Planning, the New Beijing East Railway Station is set in Tongzhou New Town. The planned size of new stations has 18 lines and 10 platforms, with a total area of about 42 hectares. Jinghagaosu Railway, Beijing Qincheng is planned to enter the intercity railway station. Tongzhou rail traffic combines the two subway line M1 Line (including M1 branches) and M6 Line (including M6 branches) t with the Metro East S6 suburban railway Lnes.

with the construction of the New Beijing East Railway Station, Beijing railway passenger transport system will achieve a overall layout of "four main two auxiliary station", namely, Beijing Railway Station and Beijing West Railway Station, Beijing South Railway Station and Beijing North Railway Station is the main passenger station, the New Beijing East Railway Station (Tongzhou), Fengtai station as auxiliary passenger stations.

In addition, Tongzhou New Town will plan to build a theme park. The theme park is positioned as a attraction combined with tourism, leisure, vacation as complex. The planned total area of the theme park is 40,000 square kilometers, the core part of which is one square kilometer. The rest of consists of the hotel, exhibition, business, entertainment, movie theaters and other entertainment places. Currently the theme of the theme park has not been decided yet, but the Tongzhou District Government has accelerated the work.

Bus: there are several buses passing by Beijing East Railway Station, such as No. 31, No.595, No.11, No.30, No.605, No.715, No.621, No.486, No.973, No.985, and No.988.
