Beijing Daxing International Airport(IATA: PKX, ICAO:ZBAD) is a large, super modern airport in Beijing, and it has hundreds of international air routes from the world to China and domestic air routes from Beijing to almost all cities with airport in China.
Beijing Daxing International Airport was built in December 2014, and was completed in January 2019, and from February to September, it entered into the inspection and acceptance phase, and flight testing phase. On 25 September, 2019, Beijng Daxing International Airport was officially put into service. Beijing Daxing International Airport covers an area of 700,000 square meters, equal to 100 football fields, with a structure area of 1.4 million square meters, marking it as the biggest single terminal in the world.
Beijing Daxing International Airport is in a shape of starfish with 6 corridors in a length over 4,000 meters. The 6 corridors are in an angle of 60° with the neighbor ones, and 3 of them point to 3 directions, Beijing, Xiong’an, and Tianjin. In the end of 5 corridors, there is a garden. The 5 gardens are made by distinctive themes of Chinese elements, including silk garden, tea garden, countryside garden, china garden, and China garden.
Beijing Daxing International Airport has 5 floors, with 4 floors above the ground(1F, 2F, 3F, 4F), and 1 floor under the ground( B1). 1F is for international arrival, 2F for domestic departure and arrival, 3F for international departure and domestic departure, 4F also for international departure and domestic departure, and B1 for domestic departure and transfer. The floor under the ground(B1) is the transfer center, and passengers could take high speed train, metro, airport express and inter-city train in this floor.

► Jingxiong Inter-city Rail
Passengers could take Jingxiong inter-city rail from Beijing Daxing International Airport to Beijing West Railway Station within 30 min. The train is available from 08:20 AM to 22:50 PM, and ticket fare is listed as below: second class(25 yuan), first class(40 yuan), and business class(75 yuan).
► Beijing Metro
Beijing Metro Daxing Airport Line. Beijing Metro Daxing Airport Line runs between Lize Business Zone Daxing Airport Station, and it has 4 stops, Lize Business Zone, Cao Qiao Station, Daxing Xincheng Station, and Daxing Airport Station.
Passengers could take Beijing Metro Daxing Airport Line at Beijing Daxing Airport to Cao Qiao Station, and transfer to Beijing Metro Line 10 and Beijing Metro Line 19, then to other lines. From Beijing Daxing Airport to Cao Qiao Station, it takes only 19 min for a single trip, and normal ticket costs 35 yuan, and the business ticket costs 50 yuan. The metro is available to passengers from 6:00 AM to 22:30 PM.
► Airport Express
Beijing Daxing Airport has 6 express lines to Beijing city center, and 7 express lines to other cities around Beijing. The 6 express lines to Beijing city center are Line 1 to Beijing Railway Station, Line 2 to Beijing West Railway Station, Line 3 to Beijing South Railway Station, Line 4 to Tongzhou, Line 5 to Fangshan, Line 6 to Xuanwu Gate(night line). From Beijing Daxing Airport to city center, the metro is available from 7:30 AM to 11:00 PM, while from Beijing city center to Beijing Daxing Airport, it is available from 5:00 AM to 8:30 PM. Airport Express Line 6 is a night line with stops at Chongwenmen, Qianmen, and Xuanwumen, available until the last flight arrives. The one-price ticket for those lines costs 40 yuan.
The 7 provincial lines are Daxing Airport-Tianjin(120 km), Daxing Airport-Dacheng(166 km), Daxing Airport-Langfang(35 km), Daxing Airport-Sanhe(122 km), Daxing Airport-Shijiazhuang(300 km), Daxing Airport-Tangshan(210 km), Daxing Airport-Baoding(140 km).
► Taxi
Tourists could take taxi in the underground floor(B1), and taxi has 2 departure directions, one is to Beijing, another is to Hebei. The taxi fare to Beijing city center is within 200 yuan, and the journey takes about 1 hours.
In Beijing Daxing International Airport, from B1 to 4F, there are about 200 stores including restaurants, book stores, cinema, swimming pool, and fitness center. Restaurants in Daxing Airport offer various food to passengers, including Chinese food and snacks, western food, drinks and dessert and the price of food won't be higher than those in Beijing city downtown.
